Two uneventful weeks later...

At work, I've been given two extra duties. I will be in charge of the morgue (archive in newspaper jargon) and I will also be in charge of tearsheets. The morgue is not too hard, but the tearsheets are really complicated. I have to go through the week's newspaper and extract any page with a certain ad on it. I can't just cut out the ads, and I have to use, like, seven copies of the paper because some advertisers request multiple copies of their ad. At least I'll be making good money. I got paid yesterday. I didn't notice the rate, but I'd estimate it's about $8.50 an hour. My paycheck added up to $94.19, including Medicare and Social Security.
