Getting used to college

Just saw "Something the Lord Made" for my Quest class (inspiring movie, by the way). I haven't brought up my classes, so here: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have Business & Economics, then Writing Workshop. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have Forensic Science, then Quest, which is part of SAGE, or St. Andrews General Education.

Welcome to St. Andrews

Now that I'm settled in to my new dorm room and have the internet connection up and running, I have some time to blog. Well, I'm here. It's a bit depressing, knowing I'll be here a while. I'm gonna need to get used to being away from home.

Last day

Tommorow, I'll be leaving home for college. I'll be busy for the next few days at orientation, but I'll try to find time to blog after settling in to my new dorm room.

Leaving Clayton

On the 17th, I will be leaving my parents' house and will move into the dorm at St. Andrews. I've spent over 11 years living in Clayton, and I don't completely resent it. I mean, I have been bullied, I have wathced other towns nearby such as Fuquay-Varina and Knightdale get Wal-Mart Supercenters before Clayton did, and I have not nearly made as many friends as I did in Fuquay-Varina, but I definitely didn't get killed. So, as Laurinburg is a bit bigger and as I will be able to make a fresh start there, I'll be alright. I won't be there permanently, though. On some weekends, I will come back to Clayton.
