The Homer of Seville

All I've got to say is better luck next time, Ms. Omine. It wasn't terrible, but not as good as last week's. I may be losing my knack for these reviews. Hope to be back in action by November sweeps. By the way, there is one episode from last season that was not reviewed: The Boys of Bummer. The reason why is, that one was so terrible, it didn't deserve a review. Besides, I didn't actually see it on TV. I saw it on YouTube, which I'm sure has deleted it by now.

Uncle Dave is here, having just moved from Belgium to India. He's told us a lot about life in India, how it's like "1920s Manhattan with laptops and modern cars and no instruction manuals." (paraphrased). He has mentioned plans to start his blog, but hasn't even purchased the domain yet, which he says will be hornokplease.info, as the .com is taken. Aunt (Great-Aunt to me) Juanita will come down from New Jersey next Thursday, during my fall break.

Sorry about the delay

So here it is, the first Simpsons review of the season:

Before the episode aired, I thought that the plot sounded terrible. Just goes to show, can't judge an episode by the promos. It was really good. Though Marge chewing on her hair had its cleverness, the intro was easily the best part, just cause it was different. I give it a 7 out of 10. Things are looking up for this season.

I'll just go ahead instead of waiting until tomorrow: I'll be 19. This time around, I can feel the pressure of growing up. I actually am starting to feel different. I guess that's the best I can hope for, it probably would have been too much for me last year.

Testing

I just closed my old Google account and am making sure I can still blog with the newer one. Seems to be working.

#200

I wasn't sure what to write for my epic 200th post, but Jerry Lewis gave me an idea: THERE! IS! NOTHING! WRONG! WITH! BEING! GAY! Therefore, should it be an insult? NO! I've had to deal with this BS since sixth, nay fifth grade! I'M SICK OF IT! If they can't tolerate ordinary people with different attractions, I won't tolerate them! And the stereotyping, it's exactly the same things African-Americans like Isaiah Washington and Jews like Jerry Lewis overcame! Besides, as you may have noticed, a fair share of pathetic homophobes have been exposed as hypocrites. This is my repression theory: Holding in the truth will eventually lead to it exploding out of you and into a scandal: Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, and Larry Craig. Who's next? My money's on Fred Phelps.
