It was Biscuit Dough Hands Man! I knew it!

I was at Kroger (in Garner, as they have yet to come to Clayton) and was checking out. I had bought some milk and some canned biscuit dough. The cashier was scanning one of the cans when it exploded in her hands. She freaked out just a little. I couldn't think of any reason why that happened, aside from the heat, but that didn't make sense. I got another can and both of them made it home intact.

Wake Tech

I started classes at Wake Tech on Wednesday. I apologize for the lack of information on this situation since June. I am taking Geology, Math, Study Skills, and Expository Writing; the latter being online. I know a few more people there, such as Jeff, DJ, and Jon, plus a few of their friends. There's not much else I can think to say right now. Keep checking this blog if I do think of something to say.

It's a brand new car!!

With the Geo on its last legs, I've needed a new car all summer. Recovering from the failed CARmax purchase, my Dad made contact with Michael Jordan Nissan in Durham and they secured a dark blue 2007 Nissan Versa hatchback with automatic transmission and anti-lock brakes, and sold it to us today for about $15,000, while buying the Geo for $100. Ask for Steve or Ryan.

Another recent event was going to a "Weird Al" Yankovic concert on Sunday night with Jon, who was basically my only non-teacher friend in high school. It was him that got me interested in "Weird Al," but I was the one that told him about the concert at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium BTI Center Progress Energy Center. He drove, I gave directions, we both bought shirts, and as I was on the end of a row, "Weird Al" himself walked right past me.

Why we can't impeach Bush

There is a reason that some people don't notice as to why impeachment will not solve anything. Removal of President Bush from office would place Dick Cheney in office, and he's pretty much the same. Impeachment of Dick Cheney first would not be progress either, because Bush would, under the 25th amendment to the constitution, have to replace Cheney, and it seems likely that Michael Chertoff, who is mostly responsible for the failed federal response to Hurricane Katrina, or Alberto Gonzales, who has fired several lawyers for being Democrats, would replace him. Therefore, impeachment will not work. Sad, but true.
