Another year

That's it for 2007. Same old thing as before. Just a few notes in the waning hours:

I got a few books, over $200 in cash and gift cards, and a few other things for Christmas. The biggest thing came on the 28th: HDTV! I didn't think we'd get HDTV for at least two more years, but there it was. I also got to see almost all of my Blackburn relatives, save for (An)Drew, who lives in LA and hates flying. As for New Year's Resolutions, I just want to get more exercise and improve my dental health. Hopefully they'll both last through February.

Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind

Guess what, TV guide was right. And as it turns out, tonight's episode is tied with Little Orphan Millie as the best episode of this season. I liked every bit, from the Ice Age reference that took me a while to get, to all the memories of the past 18 years (they appear to have left out the Ullman shorts). I give it a 9.5/10.

Exams are over

The long wait for final grades, however, is not. I have gotten one grade back so far, a B in math. That's good. I should have the rest by next weekend. Hopefully they'll be good, or it's going to be a rather lousy Christmas. We set up our tree yesterday, but it's another "low-key" year, as my mom has put it. Next semester's looking up, though. I will be taking five classes, but I will still have Tuesdays and Fridays off. I'll probably be working then.

According to TV Guide's website, there's supposed to be a new Simpsons on later. They've been a bit off due to the writer's strike, and I haven't heard about the episode they're mentioning, so I'll just have to see. Stand by. (beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep)
